Giant Ribbon
The Giant Ribbon Pledge Project aimed to link together White Ribbon events happening around the country by gathering signatures on 60 white panels. The panels were gathered up after White Ribbon Day in 2010 and 2011 and sewn into Giant White Ribbons. Thousands of New Zealanders signed their name under the words ‘we’re against violence towards women’.
The two Giant Ribbons, measuring 30 metres when laid flat, are now being displayed in prominent locations throughout New Zealand.
Contact us if you would like to host one of the Giant Ribbons in your community.
And don’t forget you can sign The Pledge, details here.
