COMMUNITY
Hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders pinned on a white ribbon while hundreds of events were held to raise awareness. Events included a fun family day in the Wairarapa, handing out ribbons on the main street of Maungaturoto, a Mayors’ Breakfast in Tauranga, hosting the White Ribbon Riders in Dunedin’s Octagon and the now annual White Ribbon March in Henderson, West Auckland. Check out the events tab under ACT for this year’s event listings.
There are a number of organisations that we proudly work closely alongside:
– Women’s Refuge – The Sophie Elliot Foundation – The Disability Clothesline Project – Shakti – NNSVS – It’s not OK campaign
