Book your tickets today for East Meets West. A spectacular world-class show by SwarAsia coming to Wellington for Diwali Celebrations. A Fusion Music and Dance Odyssey.

This amazing show on the 8th of November 2015, is presented by the Multicultural Council of Wellington, the NZ Police and Multicultural New Zealand.

Twelve world-class musicians and 6 dancers are coming from Malaysia. These include Samuel J Dass whose prowess on the Sitar is world renowned and tabla maestro Prakash Kandasamy who leads the rhythm section of the band.

The concert will include a wide range of captivating dances, ragas and rhythm patterns that will leave the audience mesmerised, riding a full band of emotions, evoking feelings of happiness, sadness and sheer delight. A Fusion concept that combines modern and classical rhythm. A programme not to be missed.

This is the first time the Multicultural Council of Wellington, NZ Police, Multicultural NZ and four Wellington Indian communities have collaborated to celebrate Diwali. These include the Wellington Indian Society, Wellington Mutamizh Sangham Society, Wellington Tamil Society and the Wellington Fijian Indian Association.
