There are a hundred different ways to get people talking about violence towards women and the importance of men taking responsibility for helping to create a safer society. Community organisations and individuals from around New Zealand have encouraged men to get involved – as a result men have hosted sausage sizzles, talked openly about their personal experiences, joined in discussions on gender violence, and even shared their feelings with other men.
